I'm confused!

I'm always very confused
whenever you said "Let's Meet"
A little fussed and a little defused
Yet, till I meet I'm confused!

Should I look, the way I looked to you,
Or should I be “Me”?
Should I dress for your eyes or?
Should I dress for me?
A little Red or a little Pink,
What should be the color of my Lipstick?

Is it wine and dine or is it a patch?
Should I look bold or demeanor?
Is it esthetic or is it realistic?
Whatever it is, I think you get me confused!

Should I smile, or should I smirk?
What should it be when we meet again?
If its intelligent you won’t like, or would you?
If its stupid you won’t like, or would you?
Should I just smile and let it go,
or should I call back and ask, "how would you like?"
Whatever it is, I'm sure you get me confused.

Yet, I decide to walk this evening.
with my pride, that I'm meeting my love
Yet, this day brings me that feeling,
That I'm going to meet my love
Is it the separation that's lovely or this meeting?
Is it you or My coming back
Whatever it is, you get me confused!

To Decide

Did it take so long  to judge or to misjudge,
If I was the sunshine or burning sun,
or is this the gestation time within you,
to decide if I'm for a night or whole life?

Did it take so much to test or detest,
if I was Lily spreading pleasant fragrance,
or was I a Rose, deceiving beauty with thorns,
to decide if I'm for a night or whole life?

Is it the "ME" in you or "YOU" in me to question,
if all the breezy moment were lovely or stormy,
ocean's blue wasn't the color of the eye but
blues in your heart,

to decide if I'm for a night or whole life?

Does it take being emotional or emotionless,
to be one body- two soul, or does it take being "ME"
forever and ever, to decide
If this moment is Just or part of memorable Life?

It took me a moment- to look into those eyes,
to smile your smile and a subtle touch,
across the dining to decide- here 'He' is;
my MAN and my Life.

Feel like royalty

Every time he held my hand before I got off the car
every time we said, my dear
everytime he said, meet my lady
every time his eyes met but not, I
"Feel Like Royalty"

This time he took to a place we've been before
But this time said, here she is "queen of my hearts"
this time he knew, she had a song to sing,
but this time said, listen to this and played "shade"
I "Feel Like a Royalty"

He held my right, with his left hand
While we drive past an old friend's diner place
He said 'you remember"; I dint know for what?
But he never knew ever, before or now, that I
"Feel like a royalty"

Whether its wine or whiskey, for sure nor beer
Whether it's for old times or now, not an intermediary
maybe it's for a sense of understanding from the past
or realization of now, that I still
"Feel like a royalty" in his arms

He has a choice, right from picking me to dropping on me
He has a chance to move on or cling on
He chose to wait on good faith, and
he chose to wait for the right thing, because with us
it "Feels like royalty"

Every time he held my hand before I got off the car
every time we said, my dear
every time he said, meet my lady
every time his eyes met but not, I
"Feel Like Royalty"

Writing to kill

My battery is low... I'm slow.... My mind is numb, I behaved so dumb... Come, fast you come... 😜

Time is passing, passing passing... I'm lazing... Lazy, lazing... People chatting, chat chat chatting... I'm waiting.... Wait and wait and waiting..

Kids are playing, play slide, I'm am talking deep inside, corps are standing and staring me, I am glaring with a smile

Yet, I write, write this poem... Killing time, like it's time to kill... Come fast oh my time... Before you kill, let me do it.. Writing to kill

He Cares!

I wish I rise every morning to the early sunshine,
and wish it would still be my ‘ME’ time on bed;
should there be something more than just taking some time out,
I wish those mornings be like before...

The sun I wake up to, was already kissing my forehead
his 'good morning baby' was the first morning song to my hears
softly when the blanket moves down from my face,
that bright smile outshines my whole day out

Every 'ME' time in the bed, was thoughtful in his arms,
somethings about me, somethings about him and
somethings about the future us;
it wasn’t just deep, he was also too profound

That little care he expressed, while eating, sleeping and chores;
was like a father or a brother whose hands I always hold,
he did everything to see that smile on my face,
from silly sorry thing to funny, childish face

There were never a day that I wasn’t bored
till he returned from work, I paced around the doors
Should there be a minute mismatched on arrival;
my heart pounds and prays for no trouble

Then there are tantrums that he bears from me
Just like my mother he cares for me
assumes I'm tired doing errands at home
he oils my hair and puts me to sleep, after a comb

Yet again, we kiss our nights away,
some laughs, some giggles,
some tears, some sorrows
up and down, our pillow time would sway

I wish I rise every morning to the early sunshine,
and wish it would still be my morning me time on bed;
should there be something more than just taking my time out,
I wish those mornings be like before...
