Feel like royalty

Every time he held my hand before I got off the car
every time we said, my dear
everytime he said, meet my lady
every time his eyes met but not, I
"Feel Like Royalty"

This time he took to a place we've been before
But this time said, here she is "queen of my hearts"
this time he knew, she had a song to sing,
but this time said, listen to this and played "shade"
I "Feel Like a Royalty"

He held my right, with his left hand
While we drive past an old friend's diner place
He said 'you remember"; I dint know for what?
But he never knew ever, before or now, that I
"Feel like a royalty"

Whether its wine or whiskey, for sure nor beer
Whether it's for old times or now, not an intermediary
maybe it's for a sense of understanding from the past
or realization of now, that I still
"Feel like a royalty" in his arms

He has a choice, right from picking me to dropping on me
He has a chance to move on or cling on
He chose to wait on good faith, and
he chose to wait for the right thing, because with us
it "Feels like royalty"

Every time he held my hand before I got off the car
every time we said, my dear
every time he said, meet my lady
every time his eyes met but not, I
"Feel Like Royalty"
